aside from that i agree. If not for climate change everyone should want a cleaner planet
They are getting cleaner day by day. There you have it. The type of comment that makes the environmental cause the cause of idiots. If you want a cleaner world then become a reasonable person. It's not either reasonable or rational to think that we are not going to burn hydrocarbons in this world as a source of energy. It's about as smart as saying we have to stop growing food to protect the soil. There is not one single source of energy we can harness that does not have some environmental impact. Some greater and some smaller but they all have it in common. Personally I like nuclear energy. It has it's impact also. Uranimum mining causes widespread environmental effects. Something that you alsomost never hear is the thermal pollution caused by a Nplant. I worked in a massive one for 5 years on lake Huron. It raises the temperature of the whole freakin lake. We have never solved the issue of the spent fuel yet after almost 50 years.
WE have massive natural gas reserves. We should be using them much more than we do. It's much cleaner than oil. For a while there seemed to be more and more natural gas cars on the road around here but it's seems to be dying out. I don't know why. Most of them were dual fuel, regular petrol and natural gas. There are still all kinds of places to fuel them around these parts. Most of the cabs are natural gas in this town.

Actually, a good many of us are driving hybrids that don't idle. Try one you'll enjoy the money savings.

It exists because it's part of the normal trend of events on our earth.

Default GW exists because the earth is constantly changing

Since man first became man, profiteers have been using natural events to gain power and profit. Human caused global warming without concern for adaptation is a pure scam.

The earth is dynamic and is constantly changing. Ice ages come and go such as the one that began suddenly in the 1300s. Of course the climate is changing as it has since earth began. Why would you think man, in a fit of egocentricity, has anything to do with world wide climate change. By all accounts any action taken to prevent global warming, 'in time to prevent disaster' is futile.

You know something is a scam when someone says the science is settled and dissenters are persecuted. Gravity, God particles and cholesterol do not constitute settled science.

We have evolved physiologically to fit into a small, 'temporary' niche circling in an eddy on the river of change. If the changes take place faster than we can evolve, we go away.
