I watched enough to see the guy say, "Hey man, I'm not a ramp for you to do an ollie in front of your camera. I want to have a conversation" The protestor is right, Schiff just stands there and rants directly at people, Bill O'Reilly-style. Let's see him go up against someone with a little more heft.
Now, here is Gary Shilling schooling Peter Schiff:
Here is Ellen Brown explaining to Schiff how the monetary system actually works, while Schiff ignorantly berates her and calls her names. Ellen Brown is throwing pearls before swine, here.

I agree, I'd like to see him go up against the "unofficial" OWS spokesperson

Ellen Brown is wrong. If the Fed is nationalize, we will have the same problem we faced before the revolution. They government just print at well. Instead of taking 100 years to destroy the currency, they just need a few years.
You don't have to agreed with me, but I am sure you will agreed with that this is the face.
watched the 1st 5 minutes. I can state pretty easily that Schiff is not representing the 1%. Its a catchy phrase to draw in people to "talk" to him.
he has more in agreement with the OWS...which by the way, I understand them to be against the same things he is against - crony capitalism, corporatism
yeah i left out the socialism and facism part. no clue how those things fit with the overall argument.
he then makes a comment about corporations can't fleece their workers. they can't pay them crap because workers will find another a job that pays better.
yes please tell that to all those late 1880-1930's "workers" that had to strike and riot to get basic rights, to prevent child labor, etc, etc
and then he always blame the government....
here's a daunting question - can capitalism work in the healthcare industry.....if one of the basic premises of capitalism is consumer choice?
The looks on their faces lets you know they have absolutely no idea who they're angry with.
And when they realize they're angry at the wrong entity and should rethink their strategy the looks on their faces is as if they're deer caught in the headlights.

What a stupid question. Of course it can. In fact, it worked just fine for me on Friday.
On Thursday, I called a medical center a block from my home and made an appointment for Friday. On Friday, I went there, met with the doctor, got diagnosed, got a shot and a couple of prescriptions and was on my way.
Total cost, without insurance, was $237, including the meds.
This was my first doctor visit in about five years. Quite the bargain, considering that the $237 wouldn't have even covered one month's insurance payment...
The "problem" with health care in this country is that everyone thinks that your insurance company should cover everything. People get ticked off about $20 copays. Unreal. Sure, you can get a policy that covers everything, but guess what - it's going to be expensive as hell, as it should be.
People should pay for the occasional stuff (like what I just did) out of pocket, and only carry insurance for catastrophic illnesses and events. Their premiums would be sooooo much cheaper, and they'd actually save money by paying for office visits and whatnot out of pocket.
I'm guessing Gary what's his name never predicted the 2008 financial crisis that a 5 year old could've predicted.
