I don't suppose the super-elite know the world is on a downward spiral and are just trying to hold onto their power for as long as they can, while we fight and bicker with each other over stupid things that will never be resolved. I don't believe anybody (and, I mean anybody) has any answers. Any debate on this?

On a side note; I know this isn't the religious forum, but I think of the verse which speaks of the world being made in futility (Incapable of producing any useful result, useless, unimportant) for a higher purpose. Maybe whoever wrote that knew something we didn't?

To the mods: You can move this to the Religion and Philosophy section. I didn't know where to put it.

Yes, I disagree. I believe Ron Paul and our US Constitution have the answers. YMMV.

Well, I believe he has some answers, but not enough.

(Can you tell me what YMMV means?)

Your Mileage May Vary.... i.e. You may have different experiences or opinions.

Thanks for the explanation.

How is Ron Paul going to change things? I know he talks about getting rid of the Fed, bringing our military back, etc., but nobody really think he's going to get away with that, right?

.
I agree there are no politicians with the answers. Even if there were someone with the answers to turn this country around they would not have the means to do so, this country is way too divided.

Yes, he can as CoC bring our troops back and he can through executive order re-institute honest money though our own government as provided by the US Constitution. Do your homework before the 2012 primaries and I think you'll be surprised to see how right Ron Paul really has been x 30 years. I know I was.

I was a Libertarian at one time, and maybe that is our best answer, but I really lean more Libertarian Socialist, now, for various and assorted reasons. Like I said somewhere in another thread in this abyss of a forum, he woudn't last long even if he was elected. You guys know that, right?
