Political differences aside, I wanted to take a minute to shout out to all of the east coasters on this forum that may be in the path of this hurricane. At this moment it is expected to be pretty bad. Be prepared, batten down the hatches and evacuate if necessary. Remember to make sure your pets are safe too! As it looks now, I will get hit pretty hard, I'm about 5 miles inland from the shore. I have plenty to do battening down my place as well. Good luck and stay safe!!!!
Hopefully it will make an eastward turn and not hit us too hard....
Thanks buddy! Tornado, earthquake and hurricane. Everything comes in three's.

Good thread, Sour D!
Stay safe, everyone, and no fist fights at the grocery store while getting supplies! Someone in parenting just reminded me: fill your car tanks with gas in case the gas stations' power goes out - thought it was good advice to pass along.

And dont forget to have some cash in case the ATMs arent working.
Also, make sure the pets are safe!
Hopefully we'll have power by Monday. I wouldn't count on it though.
