Senator Marco Rubio (Rep-FL) is one of the Republican Party’s brightest stars. Yesterday (Tuesday, August 23) he, courtesy of PowerLineBlog.com, spoke at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

"[W]e must begin by embracing certain principles that are absolutely true. Number one -- the free enterprise system does not create poverty. The free enterprise system does not leave people behind. People are poor and people are left behind because they do not have access to the free enterprise system because something in their lives or in their community has denied them access to the free enterprise system. All over the world this truism is expressing itself every single day. Every nation on the Earth that embraces market economics and the free enterprise system is pulling millions of its people out of poverty. The free enterprise system creates prosperity, not denies it."

Emphasis is mine.

The secular-progressive-liberal Leftist Democrats are wrong; oh, so wrong.

I can't rep you right now, Walt, but this will surely do to show that we agree 100%.

Lack of many other things that lead to that lack of capital.

Their actions (in terms of legislation passed) speaks much louder than their words.

The injuries caused by the gov't trying to do good, or, in reality, making believe that it is doing good in order to boost a political party's re-election prospects, is far worse than the injuries suffered under a free enterprise system.

Which actions, we need specifics here.
Like drug testing welfare recipients in Florida, where 97% passed but the right-wing was happy to spend (waste) our money, like that?
Devil is always in the details.
