Analysis: Big economic talk, few plans from '12 Republicans - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/analysis-big-economic-talk-few-plans-12-republicans-170644136.html - broken link)

"There is a lack of seriousness on the Republican side about economic policy, both in their denial of the impact of past actions taken by President (George W.) Bush and President Obama and on offering a consistent and plausible basis for governing," said Thomas Mann, a political scholar at the Brookings Institution in Washing

And what is Obama's plan ???

Perhaps Amnesty, another FAILED stimulus, another war and/or more lies, half truths, broken promises and Hope and Change the sequel.

Even another Democrat running in 2012 sounds better than another failed Obama term.

What a joke. Is that from the guy who went to Martha's Vineyard on vacation and said he would "get back to us" with a plan after vacation?

I guess you have not listened to the republican plan, which is everywhere (and was actually submitted to the democratic senate, but was tabled).

1. 20% corporate tax
2. flat 20% income tax
3. reduced regulations
4. repeal Obamacare
5. increased oil and gas exploration
6. increase refineries
7. renegotiate NAFTA and China trade policies
8. reduce class action suits

That is "the plan" that is promoted by nearly every republican. Now where is Obama's "plan"?

The Economy and Taxes

Whether you agree with him or not, Gary has a plan. Of course, no president can seriously change things without the help of Congress.

I guess since your comment makes no sense, it is a perfect liberal response, which is based in nonsense.

Now with republican plans CLEARLY SPELLED OUT (AND SUBMITTED TO THE SENATE IN THE FORM OF AN ACTUAL BILL, WHICH WAS TABLED), perhaps Obama could come up with something better than, "let's spend more".

It is amazing that anyone can attempt to defend Obama's policies and keep a straight face, as they are clearly comedy.
