Maybe Warren Buffet, Sean Penn, A-Rod, and Mark Cuban could spare an extra $100 million a piece! Whats a simple ammount like that between friends, right?
I put yes, but only because I donate a dollar or two to the presidential election fund or whatever it is. I am still naive enough to think that the little guy can run for President.
However, I am thankful to have a job, and I want to pay forward (say 5-7%) so that my son has social security and medicare, and does not see a 50% tax hike to pay for my lazy buns in 30 years. I know that the demographic pressures of the retiring boomers are going to be the biggest drain our country has ever seen, and I believe it is our responsibility to use our demographic mass (large voting leverage) to strengthen our country, not to sink it. I see the exact opposite, the most privileged and coddled generation in American history seems to not care much for the next one. That is also why I loathe the Tea Partiers so much. They have theirs, so screw the kids.
I will say, I support efforts for cutting waste along with taxes.
I refuse to vote in polls that are worded like that. It is an obvious biased poll.
Sorry, it is for the people who always insist taxes should be higher. I think they like to spout that, but THEY don't actually want to pay it themselves.
I do not mind paying more taxes to help others. I already get paid with tax dollars so It really does not matter. I will just save more.
Well then are you paying extra to pay down the debt? You can do tha ya know. Or are you just paying the minimum billed?
