Unfortunately for the hapless Pubs, they can't win. They tanked the economy when they were in charge over 8 horrific years of Bush. Causing it to fail now reflects negatively on them for all but the most enlightened. They don't know how to benefit the economy, only the rich. The are failures.

Edge to President Obama.

Lol, the economy was horrific during the Bush years? I think most people look back at 6% unemployment with longing. 9.2%, Obama is toast.

If Obama cuts SS and Medicare it will hurt him with seniors, particularly in key swing states such as Florida. And if the Repubs nominate someone who doesn't look like a wacko...I'm thinking Romney, Obama and Democratic control of the Senate will be in real jeopardy.

If and when that happens, it will be no one's fault but his own....he's just not the man many of us thought we were voting for.

By the time Nov. 2012 rolls around, Obama is going to own this economy one way or the other.

If it continues to stink, I don't know how happy the unemployed and everyone else who is suffering in this economy, are going to be with a president who spends trillions on all the wars he now has going on, while he primarily ignores the plight of his fellow American citizens..

I don't want a Republican to win, but those are the facts..

But obama gets a pass from the media. If Bush had had unemployment numbers like this before his reelection we would have been up to our ears in sob stories about people losing everything and committing suicide...

Sounds like Obama's game plan to me. Perhaps, confusion reigns supreme in your neck of the gray matter.
