We're still in Germany and Japan because we have a huge defense industry that needs excuses for what they do. Their lobbyists own this country. They help manufacture the right wing myth that it's our responsibility to mettle in the affairs of other countries. Right wing lemmings eat it up, thinking they are so brave and macho...and preventing Vietnams...all over the World...lol
