The views on morality will "evolve" and "progress" to the point where it will be wrong to deny the love of two people, one of whom will be a child.
Conservatives will be seen as bigots who would deny men, women and children the right to express their love.
There will be nationwide celebrations as each state makes adult-child marriage legal. And the people who are deeply offended by what they call a gross and inappropriate act will be shunned by a "progressive, modern society" that will be touted in the mass media.
I doubt it. Look at the fervor authorities show when going after holders of child pornography.
And the tv show "MASH" portrayed a cross-dresser as someone pretending to be crazy. Now, it's an accepted lifestyle. Heck....NY just voted to allow same-gender marriage and NYC wants to become a wedding destination for gay people.
If all we've got for standards is to wet our finger and stick it into the wind to see which way it's blowing our morals will continue to slip.
Neither kids or animals have the "contractual capacity" required to form a marriage. As an anti-gay-marriage slippery-slope argument, those two examples don't make a lot of sense.
When in fact, it was in the past that adults married children.

People are going to be fighting for the right to be allowed to marry their own immediate family members. Because they're going to say they're a "suppressed" minority. It's one thing after another.
And then when robots become advanced enough, people are going to want the "right" to marry them.
Some sexual attractions and relationships really are immoral and deviate.

And in our colonial past "wives" were often shockingly young.
But I am saying that in the future this will be a part of our continuing movement toward "total modern progressiveness".
Morality will continue to "evolve" into something that today would be unrecognizable.
