I'm sure Herman Cain would take black voters from Obama, Obama would lose Florida, mostly if Marco Rubio is VP
That's your opinion, but facts and actual numbers say otherwise. Obama is running strong in Florida and Rick Scott will doom the GOP's chance of taking Florida.

While there may be some truth to his statement, everything I know about this guy points to him being another big government tool and this is just a publicity stunt to avoid talking about the issues.

Why? All he is saying is that he is not a slave to the Democrat party like a lot of blacks are. I thought it was a good analogy.

You really believe Herman Cain can appeal to Black voters by making statements that their on the Democratic Plantation. I wouldn't even take that BS from a non-black, what makes you think just because he's a brotha it will be more accepted?

How are black people slaves to the Democratic Party? I don't see anyone forcing them to vote against their wishes.

I am lily-white as they come and I agree with you. I think the statement he made is alienating to Black voters versus pulling them toward him--at least that's the water-cooler scuttlebutt that I'm hearing today. It wasn't well-received at all.
