The U.S. military growing opium and shipping it back to the U.S. should be kept a secret?...
They not only ship it back to the US The majority of it goes back to European countries. That way, its the US government and not the Russian government. That is in control of the drug trade in Europe. Billions upon billions of dollars unaccounted for go back to the US for black ops. Its a good business thing.

Also, the plan is to get 30% of China addicted to Afghan smack...
The intelligence agencies learned how to become self financing during the Right Wing Iran-Contra operation. The airplanes illegally shipping weapons to the Contras were not flying back to the US empty. We are one of the biggest smuggling operations on the planet.
During the early 1990’s the Taliban, in accordance with Islamic law, shut down 90% of the Opium produces in Afghanistan. The loss of the several hundred billion dollars in international cash flow created an worldwide financial crises as well as panic amongst the addicted. The Taliban did not eliminate opium for legitimate medical use.
In response to the economic crisis we, The United States, became involved with funding that group of warlords know as the Northern Alliance. They were already at war with the Taliban as the cessation of the Opium trade had cut their revenues to a small fraction of previous levels. After the Taliban was defeated, and the illegal Opium trade was reestablished, our services did not want to leave such a lucrative area so we created an oil crisis involving the discovery of the petroleum reserves in central Asia. As transporting these vast quantities of oil to the world market requires several pipelines through Afghanistan to the ocean. This required a central government strong enough to suppress the tribes that had once formed the Northern Alliance. These drug producers, realizing that a strong central government would also want to skim much of the Opium revenues, realized that they would never benefit from the pipeline revenue have fought a pretty effective war against the protectors of the Petroleum Cartels. Those protectors would be us and our allies.
We need to take a couple of actions. First we need to stop allowing our intelligence agencies to finance their covert operations with profits from drug smuggling operations. Second we need to tell the Petroleum Cartel that our army is no longer available for their use. They can fund their own petroleum wars. Finally we need to mind our own business and take care of our own country first.
All this amounts to international criminality becoming legitimate part of governments. Next they will own money center banks. John LeCarea (sp?) has an interesting take on this in his latest novel.

There are now only 5 nations in the world left without a Rothschild controlled central bank:
Libya also has the largest oil reserves in the entire continent of Africa...
.......not true.
