PS- There was no Clinton surplus. It is a liberal myth told around the campfires by liberals wanting a good bedtime story. Clinton added to the national debt every year he was president. Even the republican congress (responsible for spending) could not completely save him from himself.
He spinelessly caved into right winger's demand that the tax rates on the rich not be restored and that corporations continue to get unneeded tax cuts.
Clinton DID NOT.. The national debt climbed EVERY YEAR during the Clinton administration
