Why did the Police kill my Daddy?

Another sad example of 'Protect and Serve' This time from Arizona.
Full story here.

Why any sane person would want to be a cop nowadays is a mystery to me.

Here is the opinion itself, in PDF format:

Supreme Court of the United States - Kentucky v. King

The only dissenting justice was Ruth Bader Ginsburg. All other eight justices endorsed the other side, and the majority opinion itself was written by Samuel Alito. It's interesting how the court has been gradually narrowing the scope of the 4th Amendment over the years.
This has ALWAYS been the case. There is nothing new here. You knock and announce. If you believe evidence is being destroyed, you can enter the home and SECURE IT. You then go and get a search warrant, to SEARCH the house.

Of course, you and just about everyone else, will over react to nothing. Again, no police officer is SEARCHING without a warrant. They are entering the home, securing the home, to prevent the destruction of evidence, and obtaining a search warrant.

If a judge rules there isn't probable cause to search, guess what? No search warrant.

Really, I truly wish people who post such dumb things, would bone up on their criminal law and laws of evidence, prior to shouting fire in a theatre.

Some might say this is exaggerated, but it's true.
It won't be long now.

For the feeling of invincibility.

It's an addictive high - and it's legal!

What's the 4th Amendment? We haven't had protection from government searches for a long time. Just look at what happens daily at the airports, disgusting. I am ashamed to live in this ****ing country.

Not only is the TSA violating everyone's 4th amendment in the airports, how are they not violating child pornography laws when they take naked body scan images of children and when sticking their hands down the pants of children? They are literally abusing, violating, psychologically scarring children in the name of national security, HOW?! (For the record, they are violating the adults too)
I love my country but I am with you...it is absolutely shameful that so many Americans have become politically/civilly ignorant cowards who line up like cattle at the airport and allow themselves and their children to be violated. I am at a loss for words as to how we are allowing this loss of liberty to happen...

Thank you for your benevolent concern, but I am satisfied providing my own security for my own private property. Enter the home to secure it, what a truckload of total bull****.
Break down my door un-announced, you are committing a home invasion, and well, I will leave the results to your imagination.
