"A May Day rally in Los Angeles, co-sponsored by the SEIU and various communist groups, as well as other unions, reflected yet another step in the normalization of self-identified communist and socialist ideologies in the Obama era. Not only did the SEIU help to organize the rally in conjunction with communists, they marched side-by-side with communists, while union members carried communist flags, communists carried union signs, and altogether there was no real way to tell the two apart......."

Demonizing the working man is one of the main tactics here. The better to give the corporations more power

I think those of us on the left have a bit of catching up to do in this regard. Have you noticed that the right has succeeded in hoodwinking people into believeing that the betteer it is for the corporations the better it is for America, trickle down and all that, while at the same time they've also succeeded in hoodwinking people into equating labor with communism and thinking that the better deal the unions can get the worse it is for America

We saw a very stark example of this recently when Fox News declared that union workers making $50,000 were living in the lap of luxury while CEO's making 5 times that were living near the poverty level

Evil is never sold as evil.

The workers are pawns.

They have almost nothing to do with the socialist principles of their leadership.

It's all about survival to the workers.

I feel sorry for the average SEIU worker who hasn't a clue about what's going on.

You are all nothing more than wage slaves to the government, no matter which side you choose.
The Dems are no better than the Repubs as far as choosing business/banking over the citizen.

Lefty-style speechifying aside, was there something in those photos that you found to be vague, confusing, or more importantly, inaccurate?

You only have to look at the leadership and membership to know where that comes from and why they do what they do.

They are too clueless to realize they are being used. Let the tools shriek.

You can thank the Dumbing Down of America and 24/7 rightwing propaganda.

The latter is ineffective without the former

I really hate some of the crap people of my race get involved with. Absolute waste of human flesh.

Frigging Anti-American Latino Communists.

Reminds me of that scene in The Blues Brothers.

"Frigging Illinois Nazi's I hate Illinois Nazi's"
