Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.

Oh yeah?

Then why are they burning flags in Pakistan - 10 years after his death from a lung ailment?

Why is the Pakistan government sitting with egg on their faces?

Why are they preparing to release a new video of Osama in a few days?

Why does Osama make references to "current events" on every video he releases to put the rumors of his demise to rest?

Conspiracy theories have to be buried.

It's too funny that the article Fox references comes from the "Pakistan Observer". Of course they would claim he was already dead.

Today we know that Pakistan was in the pocket of Bin Laden, he had everyone in the government INCLUDING Musharraf, paid off for his protection.

I wonder how much information they find that links the government of Pakistan directly to Bin Laden on the computers found at the Bin Laden compound.

When are the Taliban going to release the death photos from the funeral in 2001? We've got a right to see them!

The Pakistan Observer may be reporting this; I'll admit my ignorance of their journalistic standards, but I'm not going to be too concerned with a story from 2001 they have citing an unnamed Taliban official.

Does Fox have contact with this "unnamed Taliban official" - if so, are they behaving in a traitorous way?

On January 21, 2011 Osama bin Laden said the release of French hostages depends on a pullout of France's soldiers in Afghanistan and warned Paris of a "high price" for its policies, in a tape broadcast on Friday."We repeat the same message to you: The release of your prisoners in the hands of our brothers is linked to the withdrawal of your soldiers from our country," said the speaker on the audiotape broadcast on Al-Jazeera television.[72] This was the final tape released by Bin Laden prior to the confirmation of his death on May 1st, 2011.
