The funny thing is, the Chamber of Commerce "corporate" republicans are AGAINST the tea party, because the tea party is against tax credit.

Maher says things that christian extremists and conservatives don't like to hear. Just about all conservatives never offer any counter-arguments to any of Maher's statements. But they call him idiot, moron, trash, etc, etc. or wishing that he would get beat up. It's those who call him a moron, idiot, etc. that call him names. They think they're above his intelligence, but, by their immature behavior, they give themselves away.
There is something that gets under their skin and annoys them greatly and that they can't deny. They've been punked!

That's his critics MO. Make personal attacks, no need to discuss the issues. They do it with everyone not just Bill Maher.

No need to debate when you can call someone an socialist, *******s, or Obamatards.

We live in the age of a corporately owned mainstream media that rarely, if ever, allows honest discussion and criticism on real issues, and it takes comedians like Maher and Jon Stewart to tell the uncensored truth.

Sad indeed.
Yeah Bill Maher and Jon Stewart are great! They point out the Republican BS. Don't forget Steven Colbert, he's great too! I kind of like the field of nut candidates the Republicans are about to vote for. They're about to make Obama's job of re-election really easy.

The Republican counter-arguments are really intelligent. Obama is Hitler. Obama signals the end of days because he's going to make everybody take the number 666. He's the anti-Christ. Obama has a deep seeded hatred of white people (thanks Glenn Beck!).

With arguments like these I thank God I'm a commy socialist that doesn't identify with "Real America".

I didn't mention Colbert but know I should of. That guy is better than Stewart and Maher, to me, all because of his roasting of Bush in 2006. If you have not seen it, I strongly recommend you do. This is the pinnacle of comedy, it is a performance I will never forget.

I saw it years back right after it happened. Bush really hated being made fun of. Did you look at Bush's face during the comedy? He was not happy. Good!

Bill Maher is a misanthrope. He hates everyone, even those who agree with him.

You wouldn't care to provide examples to support your assertion, would you?
