Here is a plan I suspect many of the posters here would favor.

Plan would require foster children to shop for clothing in thrift stores | Michigan Radio

Well I don't know about forcing someone to shop in thrift stores but there are actually some great finds there. Thrift stores don't accept clothes that aren't in excellent condition.

Of course. We can't have foster kids mingling with the elite's kids at Neiman Marcus, now can we?

To each his own. Everyone should stay "in their place."

Guess he doesn't want the kids to wear underwear and socks. After all, neither of those are sold in thrift stores.

I'd want to see the bill, rather than relying on some twisted interpretation on it..

It's mere formulation is sick enough.

No twisting is necessary except by it's defenders.

Many middle class people have their own kids in hand-me-downs. Why is it the welfare class must be so extremely pampered that they cannot even live like the despised middle class taxpayers?

The problem with socialism is that after a while you run out of other people's money to spend.

Oh please. Many military families buy lots of used clothes for their children, you can see a lot of that on craigslist. If used clothes are good enough for our soldiers' families, why can't the welfare handouts types do likewise? It would be good for the welfare types to have to learn to budget a litte now and then.
