I think the point is that one group paints itself as more patriotic, while wrapping themselves in the American flag and a closer kinship to the military, while the other isn't as sanctimonious.
This thread does bring me to a particular point that I believe anyone that is elected commander and chief of the military should have served in the military at some point in their life. To me it just makes no sense to trust matters of war to a civilian that has only a civilian's concept of war. JMO...I mean would you take a man that has never played football. Never coached football on any level. Never even WATCHED football...And make him head coach of the New England Patriots and expect him to know what he's doing? But the military is different? And no I'm not hating on Obama. I like Obama. I've always felt this way since I was a teen...
WHO CARES??? Last I checked, they weren't running for office.
