American voters disapprove 48 - 42 percent of the job President Barack Obama is doing and say 50 - 41 percent he does not deserve to be re-elected in 2012, both all-time lows, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

This compares to a 46 - 46 percent job approval rating and a 45 - 47 percent split on the President's re-election in a March 3 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University. In a hypothetical 2012 matchup, President Obama gets 36 percent of the vote to 37 percent for an unnamed Republican challenger.

National (US) Poll * March 30, 2011 * Obama Gets Lowest Approval, Re - Quinnipiac University – Hamden, Connecticut

Some robots will continue right off the cliff with him.

The smart ones already left camp and looking elsewhere.

His numbers do no surprise anyone.

He has been tanking for a long time and will continue to drop like a rock to the bottom.

The failure in chief has some major issues and it is not looking good for him at all.

The Libyan incident is hurting his image, no doubt about it.

I am curious to see what happens next, however. With unrest continuing to grow in the Middle East, and the threat of more involvement possible for "humanitarian" efforts, will President Obama be less reluctant to send use US forces to help those people in reflecting on these numbers? Will he forego the popularity of the people and simply do "what is right"? I honestly don't know. I thought I knew President Obama before, but this recent Libyan conflict has really shifted the tables for me.

Fortunately, those in Obama's camp and some on CD will naively believe that liberals will vote for him in '12 because "they have no where else to turn". They forget that like in '10, they can sit at home or "waste" a vote on a "spoiler". That toxic mix of ignorance and arrogance among the Obamatrons will be their undoing.

I do not have I link but, I did hear on the radio last week that Obama will enter the election with a billion dollars in his campaign funds.

Will he be able to just "buy" the election???

I used to think that Obama had reelection in the bag just due to a weak Republican field, but he really pissed his base off with this invasion of Libya. I am a so called Liberal who was never in Obama's camp in the first place, because I could see he was just another empty suit corporate candidate. But any chance that I would have even considered voting for him is definitely gone. He's just another neo-con chickenhawk.

Obama isn't in touch with reality. He's either insane or is surrounded by yes-men and is kept out of earshot of the boy who said "The king has no clothes."

there is only one "poll" that matters, they have them in November. Hold you breath until then.

If his approval numbers were good you would care about this poll. Obamabots are the most ignorant and numerous people ever.
