So what you're saying is under your ideal government, gays can marry at will, and women can have as many abortions as they want, correct?

Oh yeah, we're going to tax the churches too, right?

I know you want to believe this is about racism...but it isn't. It's about the proper role of government. American leftists/liberals want as large and as powerful a government as possible. American conservatives don't. What we want is a smaller government. We want more power to reside in the state and local governments. We believe, as did the founders, that democracy works better at the state and local levels. Democracy isn't working very well at the federal level. This last two years of mr obama's administration are a study in just why that is. We've been demeaned, mocked, pillaried, and ignored for too long. It's high time we are no longer ignored by this administration. The election of 2012 is something I'll watch/participate in with a relish.

Power to the states huh?

So you do not wish your candidate to pursue a federal ban on abortion or gay marriage, correct?

No more church exemption from federal income tax, correct?

Because if you can do those things, I'm in. I'd be glad to not hear about the first two anymore, and happy as hell to watch the church pay their dues like everybody else.

So, what say you about all these liberals who bashed Bush for numerous things that which Obama has continued on himself, yet they say nothing now?! That includes all the hacks who voted "Strongly Disapprove" in this silly poll.

For the record, the Tea Party started to form under Bush. It wasnt born just when Obama took office.

The only people who "Strongly Disapprove" of the Tea Party are hard core liberal hacks. Anyone they see as a threat to their liberal or communist agenda, they of course will strongly disapprove.

I voted Approve. I approve but I think the movement needs more work and as with any movement, needs to stay focused and get stronger as well as try and do a better job at getting its message out. Even though doing so is hard due to a biased liberal media/hollywood who do anything they can to destroy you.

I approve. The strongly disapprove are hacks, and don't even know what they are talking about. They are just vomiting what they are being told by the liberal media. The Tea Party was formed by people who were also sick of the Republicans, and wanted to voice their opinions. Not just against the left.
Back in Nov, it was Tea Party- backed folks that got voted in, over the republicans. Walker is doing a great job. No one is mentioning the jobs that he saved by doing his job.
That isn't being reported. He is on the side of the people, not the unions, and that should not be a shock to anyone. That is why he was elected.

Agreed. I think even some liberals who are open minded, and....FAIR, wouldnt strongly disapprove of the Tea Party. Perhaps even some would be neutral.

Id say 99 percent if not all of those who "Strongly Disapprove" are liberal hacks who do indeed see the Tea Party as a force and threat to their horrible agenda or those who dont know a damn thing about what goes on today, but they sure know their celebrity or sports gossip garbage. Those are the types that have believed are negative lie they heard/saw from their favorite idiotic celebrity.

So yeah, if you so Strongly Disapprove of the Tea Party, and cant even think of a few reasons not to Hate them, then you fall into one of those two groups I mentioned above.

That's why I said "for the most part." And you can't reasonably dispute the majority of tea partiers had even heard of the tea party before, say, January 20, 2009.

What do I say about those who bashed Bush for things that Obama has continued? That they're blinded by their support for Obama and are acting hypocritical. I've been extremely disappointed by Obama's inability to close Guantanamo, continuing and escalation of the war in Afghanistan, and his continual bowing to corporate special interests.

I will remain steadfast in my belief that for the most part, the tea party is a partisan political response and opposition to President Obama's agenda. The anti-spending, small government protests were a fraction of a fraction of the size they are now prior to Obama's inauguration.

Walker's massive spending and attacks on the unions leading to historic backlash, to the ultimate big government, anti-constitution bill, the patriot act, the tea party were almost in unanimous support for it. The tea party also stated many times the #1 agenda is creating jobs, but where are they? Is the tea party a fraud?
America on the rebound. Thank God for them.

that is your job isn't it. Your OP is garbage. The only person so far that has tried to make a difference through smaller government and who has put up a budget to actually cut the deficit is Rand Paul of the Tea Party.
the Repub and Dem plans that I have come out so far cut miniscule amounts. None of them scratch the surface of our bloated military budget.

Keep spending money we don't have and don't live within your means. Isn't that we are taught from childhood? It's worked great so far hasn't it?
