Who was the better president? FDR is the father of liberalism while Ronald Reagan is regarded as the greatest Republican president.

In the eyes of conservatives, Ronald Reagan is the greatest man to ever walk the earth. I consider him to be a b list actor who became president.

Clearly Ronald Reagan. Liberalism is what is destroying this country and society.

Both presidents showed to their respective parties how to spend, spend, spend. FDR did so to get this nation out of the economic toilet and a war against very able foes. Reagan to end the Cold War once and for all.

Neither showed how to scale back spending after goals were met (although FDR died before he had a chance to).

He was also the governor of the most populous states after he was a "b" list actor.

Scholars were predicting the demise of the Soviet union before Reagan was elected. Soviet Union was unable to sustain itself. Their little war in Afghanistan sure didn't help them. It would have collapsed, with our without Reagan.

Ronald Reagan was a piece of crap.

He wasn't half the president Roosevelt was.

Maybe so, but a stated goal of the Reagan administration was to vanquish the Soviet Union and end the Cold War. Whether his military spending increases forced the Soviets to match it; thereby bankrupting them is questionable. But I'll give the credit to his administration.
