So if we were to even this out some, would that be considered socialism or equality?

Depends who you ask, though there are some folks who have a pavlovian response of 'socialism' to anything critical of laissez faire capitalism.

That's so logical... use a biased source to talk about a one-sided view... hmm... pass... I suppose everyone here is now official boycotting industry... right? I guess everyone here is quitting their job in industry, right? No? Apparently it works well enough for you to not go live in a cult in the middle of the desert where everyone takes whatever you have... I am so sorry you cannot transform all of America into your cult-thinking ideas...

Correction- selective attention laissez faire cronyism. Military industrial complex was sitting pretty. Manufacturing base competing with slave wage labor, not so much. String us out on global dependence further and further... tear down solar panels. Divorce people from business ethics. Divorce companies from American allegiance and local communities. Facilitate new world order schemes. Yep a mighty tall order to accomplish and libertarians duped-- I hope yall put your brains into this more next round of poking holes in the ship we share.

So 90% of America gained equally when income grew. The top 10% gained the most.

Do think everyone should get a trophy, Mr. Lenin?

Wall street can't make trillions if no one buys into hype that makes the markets wildly fluctuate. If people fail to stampede into stores they're cursing their fate how you stole their fortunes from them. It's a good thing small business enjoys a bit of insulation from sheer volumes of retardation & legalized theft going on in corporate largess.
