I may have found someone I might be interested in voting for in 2012. So far, I like this guy. Of course, I kind of like Mitt Romney. Must be something about those Mormons....LOL.

BEIJING—Summoned for a diplomatic dressing down last year, Jon Huntsman Jr., the American ambassador to Beijing, hopped on his sturdy "Forever" brand Chinese bicycle and pedaled off to the Foreign Ministry.
Flustered guards there, expecting the U.S. representative to sweep up in an armored Cadillac made him park by a side gate and walk in.
The unceremonious arrival—at once suggesting humility and defiance—was typical of Mr. Huntsman, a Mandarin-speaking former Mormon missionary and the son of a billionaire who has set himself the ambitious goal of "humanizing" the world's most important bilateral relationship.
Since taking over one of America's top ambassadorial posts in 2009, the former Utah governor and possible Republican presidential candidate has made a habit of challenging diplomatic protocol to both charm and unsettle his hosts....snipped...
Oddly enough, I had never heard of him before this piece or probably, just never paid attention. Sounds like a guy who could navigate world politics with a business background....woohoooo !

Huntsman is one of my favorite Republicans. I'm a centrist, liberal on some things and conservative on other things. That's why I doubt he could win a Republican primary. I also like Romney, too.
Check out his father, John Hunsman, SR. a philanthropist who seems like a really impressive, ethical billionaire. If his son learned anything from and is following in his dad's footsteps, he certainly would be someone I would seriously look at in a presidential run.

Politically, you sound a lot like me. I like Romney okay, but I really, really like Huntsman. I just think he's not really well enough known at this point to be able to pull off a successful bid for the Presidency, but he is a man of integrity and intelligence, and from what I can see, very centrist in his political ideology. (I also find him more personable than Romney, but that might just be my own personal opinion.)
He's a smart man. When he wants to become better known, I think he'll make it happen. We certainly can volunteer on his campaign should it come to that.
