111th Congress Averaged 25% Approval, Among Recent Lowest

Quote:
PRINCETON, NJ -- The 111th Congress received an average 25% approval rating from Americans over the course of 2009 and 2010. While this is similar to the 23% average approval rating for the 110th Congress spanning 2007 and 2008, it is among the lowest average approval ratings for a Congress that Gallup has recorded in the past two decades.
Its just very amusing that the Left seems to think their views, their policies, their agenda, is popular or in any way in the mainstream of this country.

Clearly, it is not. Clearly, pelosi and her leftist agenda has left a clear and indelible mark on the American electorate, to which it will not be easily forgotten.

All the legislative "victories" and "accomplishments" heralded by pelosi and the dems, the most "productive" congress ever, is also one of the most despised and unpopular.

See, legislative victories to the progressives/liberals are anathema to the rest of the country.

No shock to see this. When you have to pass a bill to know what is in it, ods are good you will not be popular

Many dictators were effective. I guess it just depends on what you were effective AT.

The reason why it was so unpopular was because little was getting done from the non-stop abuse of the filibuster from the republicans. Obama's approval ratings in contrast have remained fairly high, also the lame duck session was the most productive in US history.

Ah yes, the "unpopular but effective" line. Graduates from the school of Dubya.

Haha. Little was getting done?

The Failed Stimulus - owned by the democrats and obama.

Obamacare - ditto.

GM/Chrysler takeover - ditto.

Oh stop hitting the kool-aide so heavily!

Republican filibusters? Your joking, right? These corrupt, idiot demrats tried to do everything they could behind closed doors without any Republican input at all.

How about passing a bill before reading it and knowing what is actually in it. You are seriously ok with that???

Obummers approval rating, along with his unproductive, destructive congress is lower than ever.
