I spent the last 45 minutes or so writing this thread, so please, share your thoughts on these topics:

1. Should the government should prohibit gun ownership by private citizens?


2. Should Marijuana should be legalized?


3. Should the death penalty be abolition?


4. Should the government control, regulate, and ban video games, including banning video game sales to teens?


5. Should we pull our troops out of Afghanistan?


6. Should abortion be legal or illegal?


7. Should stem cell research be legal?


8. Should criminals who sexually assault and/or rape children under the age of 13 be killed, castrated, chemically castrated, or simply imprisoned and registered as a sex offender?

This is very splitting for me. You immediately go to the Male. There is a very big double standard here. We are finding out more and more, there are some horny Cougars out there.

As it is now. Consensual, is being called rape, when no one has been forced to do anything. Lets call it what it is and punish accordingly.

Child rapist have a very hard time in prison. A real hard time. Inmates frown on that crap.

The key here is money. Why is it monetary? My feelings on crime is, if you do a crime or break a law, no money is fined. You do service for the City, State or Federal government, in the form of work... Labor, be it digging ditchs to picking up trash, to mowing our roadsides.
No payoffs to get out of punishment. Paying money has no meaning to many that commit most crimes.

NO! That is what business is all about. The ability to show a profit, or show a loss. The better businesses will come out as the people chose who won and who lost. What I don't like, is the Corporate structure to a business. There is not one owner of the business. There are stockholders.
The way it is now, the owners of the business(stock holders) take the hit, and those in the top places, take all the cash. It is actually profitable for those in power at these corporations to make them go bankrupt.

Laissez-faire. Let the people work it out. Let the people decide the winners and the losers, not the government and then subsidize their failure with our money.
