Since winter has come, has the market in your area come to a screetching hault? Are you expecting any change in spring?
I don`t see the housing market changing much.
I see it taking a nose dive when UE benefits run out. For 2 years we've been paying to keep people on mortgages they never should have gotton, and now we are going to pay the piper.

I see homes that are affordable again selling briskly right now, at least in my area.
Here in Mt. Pleasant, a suburb of Charleston, real estate values have been going up for the last year and are continuing to do so. Right now, the average time on the market has decreased and the prices have increased. So, a decent market but not booming. I would call it normal.
Dallas/Ft Worth...never had the bubble...never had the downturn...I have eight rental properties that have all maintained their value......Plus! I signed oil and gas leases for 4 of them completely paying off my down payments.
