Because the UN is Anti American . They Will find us the worse human right violators of all time, Not because we are but because they are so anti American it is a pre conceived conclusion.

For the most part, our relative human rights record is decent. I don't have a problem with anyone comparing us to the rest of the world. I'll be interested in the objectiveness of the findings.

What is Obama up to really? Anything? No president has ever done this before, why him, why now?
Of course it's the first time. The U.N. Human Rights Council was formed in 2006 and is currently about 2/3rds of the way through it's first Universal Public Review of all UN member's human rights record. The US isn't being singled out.
Hopefully to not only kill, but to utterly defile, any sense of American exceptionalism. To bring the U.S. in compliance with all the high-minded rhetoric we preach to others--and use as a pretext for war. It's about damn time!
