Appearing on “The Daily Show with John Stewart” on Wednesday night, President Obama said, “In fairness, Larry Summers did a heck of a job in trying to figure out how to …”
“You don’t want to use that phrase, dude,” Mr. Stewart interjected.
“Pun intended!” the president responded to laughter.
What a great job he did! Recovery Summer is rolling right along! We ARE on the right track!
That was the moment of President Obama's appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart that set all Americans cringing. Yes, he really said that Summers "did a heckuva job."
Is Obama really just a talking head? Does he have any clue what he says? Is TOTUS mad at him and making him say these things? Does Obama EVEN think in his little tiny head or does he just spew what is written and put in front of him?
Just in the past week.....
"Sit in the back"
"punish your enemies"
"Heck of a job, Larry"
"yes we can....but...."
And there is certainly a heavy load of desperation weighing down the Obama back.
Obama is the talking head for the progressive movement and if he doesn't stop talking off the teleprompter he is about to give away as much of their plan as Van Jones did. I think that Spooky Dude Soros is getting tired of his talkers talking too much off the top of the head.
By "pun intended," even though it wasn't a pun , I think he was deliberately recalling Brownie. I don't think it worked out the way it was supposed to with Larry Summers.
Could be wrong, but "heck of a job" is too infamous a pop-culture and esp. political expression for him not to have used it deliberately.

That got me furrowing my brow too, where was the "pun"? I don't know, maybe the president was trying to be humorous? <shrug>
The phrase "heck of a job" is also a commonly used phrase, maybe it slipped out?
