this is government education at work. this is the department of education. tell me again why abolishing the department of education is considered "extremist?"
The kid and his mother should sue the school district for mental pain and suffering. Very difficult situation and no doubt the kid just needed to be back in school with some semblance of normalcy to be amongst his friends/peers and to distract him from his father's murder. Yet, school administrators and teachers are not only insensitive but their behavior was downright abusive.
This is callousness and cowardice beyond belief. Why didn't this idiot realize the poor kid may have been crying? I think the school administrator that made this descision should not be suspended for a week but from a goal post.

That is the local school board at work. So, go to your local school board and look at who is running and ask them why they should be elected. Look at the backgrounds. If they have no experience with children, families or education kick them to the curb. The policies stem from there. If your local policies dictate zero tolerance than you actually have to get involved to alter that.
I'd like to know more about the background of this principal. From what little information we have he seems to be an idiot. Zero common sense.
