If you study our history, you will find that in every instance, our American ideals have been sacrificed for the sake of big business. What we call our American values, what brought our ancestors here to begin with -- and even Native Americans came here from somewhere else, has always been to seek freedom from oppression, to live abundantly, and to worship our gods, freely.
Our big businesses do not serve those interests, and our government serves their desires (not yours), here and over "there."
America was built by the enterprise of the "little" men and women that took the initiative to support themselves through enterprise -- small businesses serving their local neighborhoods. It was when those businesses got too big that they forgot the people they were created to serve.
So, if you REALLY want America back, including jobs, community, and freedom, then stop looking for corporate jobs, and stop supporting big business and the government that supports big business. Vote OUT anyone that has voted for Big, vote IN little -- and local. Shop local. If the need isn't met local, start a small business to create that supply -- and the jobs that go with the effort.
Be the American your ancestors wanted you to be, and stop serving the oppressors. Serve yourselves.

Arguments? Agreements? I'm listening....
You have to pay so much in taxes and fees just just to open a business and hire someone , you can't make money . Less "service" less taxes please.
Have you considered that these are the ways that Big Business has been successful in keeping out little competition? Participate in your local, state, and federal government and fight these infringements on your rights to local businesses.
Actually, I AM a democrat, because I don't believe in the Republican's insistance in combining church and state, but that's a different argument.
This is a bipartisan issue. It will take BOTH parties to fix it. In fact, I believe all issues need at least two parties. It's time we stopped trying to be a single party nation. That's the way to totalitarianism -- or maybe that's the Republican goal?
Glad to hear you still have some. We've traveled the country for two years, quite sober, thank you, and found many that are nothing but chains.
Where did you go? I'll gladly research and provide many examples of local restaurants and shops, this is obviously a case of not seeing what you are assuming isn't there.
Give me a neighborhood and city, I'll respond back.
