What a megalomaniac this man is. The arrogance and disconnect is breathtaking to behold.

He came, he saw, he spent | themichiganview.com | The Michigan View (http://www.detnews.com/article/20100715/MIVIEW/100715001/1467/opinion01/He-camehe-sawhe-insulted - broken link)

In the latest stop on his “Recovery Summer” tour, rock star President Barack Obama landed in Holland, Michigan Thursday, insulted its congressman, handed American stimulus dollars to a Korean corporation, and proclaimed Obamanomics a success even as Michigan has lost 94,000 jobs since his Recovery Act was enacted.

Obama said his benevolence would create 300 jobs in Holland – but that’s $500,000 per job.

In fact, since his $1 trillion Recovery Act was passed a year ago, Michigan has lost nearly 100,000 jobs.
Does obama and his team really believe the BS? Or do they believe they will not be challenged on the numbers from the media?

Oh, what a petty, classless piece of work this little man is. Rep. Hoekstra (R) attended the event out of "respect" for the office, but obama was his usual snarky, pissy self, continuing to denigrate the office by engaging in his never-ending rank partisanship.

THEY prove that their programs are working with the use of a Keynsian calculator that tells them they are making things all better. This morning I read about that machine on a blog and nearly fell out of my chair laughing at what the blogger said about how they fool themselves.

Peter Hoekstra is running for governor and was only at the event to make it appear that he supported this project to bring jobs to Michigan when, in fact, he voted against it and has been a vocal critic of the stimulus package that made this lithium-ion battery plant, the first in the nation, come together. And your "300 jobs" is off by half. It created 600 jobs now and will bring hundreds more when the plant is actually open, eventually employing roughly 17% of the population of Holland MI. Hoekstra is a cry baby.

That all sounds great.

Will you buy one of the cars??

I will not, the price is too high for a small car and I live 35 miles from town.

We just bought a brand new car and will get delivery next week. But next time around, yes, I will. By then the price will come down and the bugs will all be worked out. We never buy vehicles in their first year after a major design change.
