YouTube - Scarborough on Sharron Angle: This Race is Over

Here's Angle's exact quote:
“Our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason, and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government,” Angle told conservative talk show host Lars Larson in January. “In fact, Thomas Jefferson said it’s good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years. I hope that’s not where we’re going, but you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies.”

Chris Matthews Lies About Sharron Angle | The Weekly Standard

Why would Chris Matthews do that?

Matthews lies about everything on MSNBC that also lies about everything. If he was not a liar, he would be out of a job.

Shocking. Who would have thought that Matthews would ever lie about Harry Reid's political opponent? I can't believe my ears.

/sarcasm

How did Angle "walk back the quote"? By admitting it was strong language? That isn't walking back the quote.

You don't think he is biased do you?
From Chris Matthews - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Subsequently, he served on the staffs of four Democratic members of Congress, including Senators Frank Moss and Edmund Muskie. In 1974, he mounted an unsuccessful campaign for the Pennsylvania's 4th congressional district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, in which he received about 24% of the vote in the primary campaign.[6] Matthews was a presidential speechwriter during the Carter administration. Matthews later worked six years as a top aide to long-time Speaker of the House of Representatives Tip O'Neill, playing a direct role in many key political battles with the Reagan administration."

Where is the balance on NBC?

You would think that with all the whack a nut ideas that Ms Angle has, one would think that one wouldn't need to make up or exaggerate anything.

MATTHEWS: She said the 2nd Amendment should be used to to fight what they see as tyranny in Washington.
How is that not what she said?

I listened to what Matthews said. He didn't give a verbatim quote of what she said. I read the posted quote of what she said, and I don't see any lie in what Matthews said. I certainly "got" her message..............people are looking TOWARD Second Amendment REMEDIES if Congress continues the course its on. Put that together with her reference to Jefferson's "revolution every 20 years" and what do you think she meant? WHAT ARE SECOND AMENDMENT REMEDIES if they don't involve gun use?
