The Obama administration has not ruled out turning sick people away from an insurance program created by the new healthcare law to provide coverage for the uninsured.
Yippie we get higher taxes. Some might lose their insurance. Chances are our medical cost will increase and the gov might have to turn sick people away.
While healthcare needed to be addressed this isn't the way. I don't know a better way but there has to be one.
I don't know. Maybe he just wanted something out there knowing there would be changes to the bill and challenges to it before it became law. Maybe our lawmakers can make changes in the future but still have something for people who need the help when it comes to insurance.
The gubmint says that companies can't reject people with pre existing conditions, but those companies can make you wait to get treatment. It may come as a rude awakening to people who are in dire need, yet, they are somehow required to carry dubious insurance plans full of loopholes. What good is coverage that won't allow us to go to the doc 20 times a month if we have to ?

You should be celebrating instead of complaining... sounds like business as usual, before the health care law was passed.

What was the point?
Isn't this the rationing that many people (including Palin) talked about?
OMG, I hate to say it, but looks like Palin was spot on!

This health care bill has ALWAYS been about power and control. If this bill is allowed to stand, the federal government has broken thru the Constitution and we will never be free Americans to choose freely. They now will have the power to DO anything to us, whatever they deem is for our own good.
Every state HAS THE POWER to pass bills to help the people needing insurance and medical assistence. It was up to the people to get their elected officials going on this. The federal government WAS NOT the answer.

Please explain how we will not be able to choose insurance freely under the health care act, and leave out the hysterical personal opinion if possible.

The states had the power to pass something like this particular high-risk program?
Gee, how come the states never did that?
