President Obama plans 'plain talk' on immigration reform

Quote:
Obama, who met with the Hispanic Caucus this week, plans in his remarks to remind Latino voters he opposes Arizona's tough new anti-immigration law. He also will emphasize that generating GOP support for putting new laws on the books has been a hurdle.
His ally Mayor Bloomberg will be there with him. And we all know where he stands. Could be an interesting "talk".

I hope Americans will pay attention.

Why is he talking to the Hispanic Caucus? Illegal immigration is a national issue not a racial issue. He like Bush and a few other presidents are placating Hispanics instead of honoring and enforcing the laws on the books. They haven't even seemed to care about the criminal and terrorist element crossing our borders everyday. WTH has happened to this country in the past couple of decades or so?

Default Obama's live distorted perspective for all to hear

The president of the US is confusing mainstream attitudes supporting controlled immigration with illegal immigration. He is doing that intentionally.

He is going to great lengths to suggest anyone upset with uncontrolled illegal immigration is likewise anti-immigrant. He drones on about immigrant success stories as if any attempt to stop illegal immigration is a immoral attempt to stop all immigration.

Oops, just in...... "more boots on the ground than ever before and crime along the border is down and the border is more secure today than ever before" !!!!!

Can any one not under the influence of CNS drugs possibly take this guy seriously?

He condems the AZ law after the 9th circus ok'd it!!!!!!!!!!!!! He relies on the 'slippery slope' theory to suggest people's rights are being violated by a law he never read when he first revealed this opinion.

He is right that most of America is wanting to move forward, except if he looks back, he is alone on the path. America is heading in a different direction.

More heartfelt ramblings that have nothing to do with securing the borders and protecting US citizens. PO has demonstrated his disconnect from mainstream America.

His approach to problem solving is predictable and always results in allowing the patient bleed to death while he ponders the intangibles.

Every sentence of Obama's speech is not based on fact or truth, pure manipulation, and his terms 'mass deportation with round ups' are not what self deportation is about.
