What if, in the style of our current president, Lincoln has resigned to blaming his predecessor (Buchanan) and failed to act as a leader, accpeting his responsibility as POTUS?

Lincoln had the most difficult situation in US history placed squarely in his lap and met the challenge. He did not blame Buchanan, but guided a nation in revolt back to reunion.

Obama has an economic crisis. What does he do? Blame Bush. The result? We are still in an economc crisis.

Perhaps Obama should read some history and start acting like a leader, rather than a scared child who must seek the shelter of blame. Obama can say that he was dealt a bad set of cards (he chose to run for office), but Lincoln was dealt a much worse situation.

Man up, Barry. Take some responsibility and be a leader, rather than a crying child.

Obama is an intellectual thinker--not a doer. He isn't good at tackling and solving problems. His true calling would be academia, not political life.

Exactly! Not sure he knows how to man up though, unless he is on a basketball court......
