I need to find a good barber... Looking for a tight edge up and fade. I live in the southside, would like to find something close, but will travel if necessary.

There are a couple shops in East Liberty (5900 block of Penn Avenue - always lots of people and it looks like the neighborhood gathering place) and I know of one in the 400 block of E. Ohio St. on the North Side.

I'll ask some of the guys, on my board, where they go, and I'll come back and give you some suggestions.

What about that "Bobs Barber Shop" on Carson Street? I see a lot of the brothers hanging around out front usually when I drive past.

Okay. I've had 2 recommendations, one from a female and one from a male, who said Chris Styles barbershop, in Wilkinsburg, on Penn Avenue (next to Jean's Soul Food restaurant) has very good barbers working there.

Another girl I know said she recommends "Goose", who works at McGinnis shop, in Mt. Oliver, on Brownsville Rd. He's been cutting her son's hair since he was 2 and has a large clientele. She said he's very very good.

I walked by one that seemed nice in Oakland - maybe on DeSoto in between Fifth and Forbes. I think it's this one: William Garvis Barber Shop
There was a group of people around outside and they all looking nicely groomed.
