OP, the triangle bar in swissvale is delicious. If you venture out into the suburbs give Rizzos Malabar Inn, Crabtree, PA a try. Best Italian in the metro.

Make sure to take a pic of your food and menu and post it here so we can all see what the great looking dish looks like.

Triangle bar uses the lowest grade lunch meat in their sandwiches, other than the size oddity i don't get the hype.

everyone seems to have that one unbeatable, unique, superior place, whether its sandwiches or pizza or whatever. and then, its a big letdown - not terrible, but not the unique, fireworks in the sky/get Guy Fieri on the line type sensation.

usually, pizza is unbelievably overhyped. it could be GREAT pizza, but its not the only good pizza out there, and / or the taste isnt what someone else likes, and so on. its like a list of greatest rock songs or greatest rock bands of all time. so terribly subjective and opinionated- what is the use, except for click bait.

i happen to think Napoli's in Squirrel Hill has the perfect pizza....and you never hear people talk about THEM, as much as Mineo's (which i NEVER really liked!) or the recently more popular Aiello's.

It is not the highest grade of meat. It reminds me of old school Isaly's deli meat. It is the combination of bread, meat, cheese, thinly sliced and shredded vegetables, oil, vinegar, and seasoning. The best Italian hoagie in the metro.

Yes, lowest grade meat isn’t appealing anywhere.
