I'd love for them to redevelop that site into something great--be it retail or commercial. I live in Crafton Heights, so I wouldn't mind having a nice Target that convenient...

I bet a Target would do well in that space. Good population density and demographics, and far enough away from the Targets in East Liberty and Robinson. And Target always draws other retailers.

I'd love to have a Target that close, but I wonder if that would be over-saturating the market. I've always been okay with the fact that Parkway Center wasn't upscale. Put in a Gabe's, a Big Lots, a Home Goods, and it'd do fine.
