Does anyone know where there is an indoor swimming pool near Hampton?

I've looked online and it appears I'm in an indoor swimming pool void.

I believe that LA Fitness on McKnight would have an indoor poll but you would have to be a member to use it

The Oxford club has one as well as both YMCAs.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Copanut, I can't find listings for the YMCAs near you. Are you sure they're still open?

LA Fitness has one. The YMCA near 910 has a really nice one as well. Maybe too North for you? Oh also Northgate High School has open swims. I forget which nights but if you call they will tell you. I have gone to swim laps there before. Only a couple dollars or you can pay a monthly fee I believe. I am not 100% positive on this but I think Shaler also has open swims.

There's one on Nicholson Road in Franklin Park, and one on 19 in soulless Cranberry.

Love the suggestions.

I just discovered that Hampton High School as adult swim nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays but only from 8pm to 9pm.

I'd like better schedule options. I wonder if Shaler and Northgate is only available to residents? (Northgate would be a far drive though.)

Keep the ideas coming!

I thought you were talking about the one that was on McKnight near the Target across from North Park. I thought that one closed years ago (and I didn't think there was a pool in there anyway.) Franklin Park is a bit of a drive from Hampton. Thanks for the ideas. I'll definitely keep them on my list if nothing else is open on a day I want to swim.

It did close years ago, basically in favor of the Franklin Park one which is much farther away from you. And yeah I don't think they had an indoor pool anyway.

Oxford Athletic Club or LA Fitness as mentioned are good ones but I assume you'd have to join. Club Julian by Northway Mall also has a pool. Again, membership I would think.

Pine-Richland HS also has a pool which could be worth checking who is allowed to use, while you're checking such things.

What about hotels? Some hotels you could just about wander into their pool, I suspect, though then of course they are somewhat likely to be filled with screaming kids.

I'm almost positive that the Shaler Elementary School (the old middle school) is open to the public certain days of the week in the evening.
