I found this particular interesting about the NYC Metro....Looks like secrets out in NYC....and I do hear a lot of talk about the Burgh here, and call me crazy but NYC actually respects Pittsburgh more than it does a lot of other cities I've noticed.
When I tell people I from the Burgh their more so interested in Pittsburgh than they are to laugh and turn into elitist and try to down talk it.
EDIT: I didn't see SI (Richmond County) on list so guess it's a draw...
Oh my. How long did it take you to make this information? O_o I haven't even heard of half of those counties lol. I remember a map from 2008 posted by Forbes last year. Would you say migration to Allegheny County has improved in the past year? For comparison's sake, I compared migration from here to Mecklenburg County from 2005 to 2009 and while there are still more people moving to Charlotte than back to Pittsburgh, it has improved greatly from over 200 more people leaving Allegheny County than moving here from that county, to only 80 more leaving (Beaver County now manages to get more people moving there from Charlotte than to there). It will be interesting to see if fewer people are still moving from Pittsburgh to the South in the future. Maybe all the fools who wanted to move left or people have realized the grass isn't greener on the other side always.

Wow. Really? I'm sure that's an improvement from prior years. If only I convinced one of my friends to move with me up here!
Massive improvement. In 2005 and 2006, about 200 more people left than moved here and it started to change in 2007 until we got to 2009 with only one more person moving out than in. It's great to see many counties that were red turn to a lighter red or become blue compared to 2009 and the ones that were blue in 2005 become a dark blue.

I can say from experience that each one of these places SUCKS! You can't spit in Pittsburgh without hitting someone from Warren County. If you whipped it out and peed on Liberty Ave in Bloomfield, there's a very good chance it would splash the shoes of someone from the Allegheny Forest. Warren makes Pgh look like San Francisco.
