Are there any stores in the Pittsburgh area that carry Krakus Polish Ham? I can't find it anywhere in the KC area. I'd like to pick up some while I am in your area.

The Polish deli in the Strip District is the first place I'd call: S & D Polish Deli - Strip District - Pittsburgh | Urbanspoon.

Looks like they'd have it but they are closed on Sunday. Bummer.

Are you visiting with anybody who lives here that can pick it up for you?

There is a Polish deli on Brereton St., it might be a good place to start.

Polish food deli store Pittsburgh. Parcel and money transfer services.

The one friend I have in the area won't be around during the time I will be there.

Thanks. This works. They carry the canned ham by Krakus and the odds are also good that they will have it in the deli.

The only way I'll flip you the bird is if you turn out to behave like one of the jerks or creeps in KC. Seriously, there are more hostile jerks, creeps and a-holes in the KC area than any other place I've lived. Based upon my experiences while visiting western PA over the years, about the worst kind of treatment I can expect is to be ignored. I can live with that.

This is shaping up to be a good trip. Looks like I will be able to accomplish much of what I'd like to do even on a Sunday.
