I rarely watch television, but did tonight. Apparently a new series started tonight which takes place in Pittsburgh--good long shot of the city on opening and reference to Squirrel Hill eaterie.

It might work!

On TNT... at 10 PM. With TNT you get a lot of repeats, so if you missed it tonight, you surely can catch it other places...

I just asked DH if we get TNT (he being the keeper of all things electronic!) and he doesn't know. I'll try to check it out.

Well, I think it is promising. A fairly good plot, some complex issues, and Pittsburgh.

It reminds me a little of an earlier program that took place in Providence--similar feeling. And I love the long shots of the City--it looks so beautiful!

Hope some you all catch it next time around and post what you think!

Darn! I missed it! I was watching The Closer too!

I got side tracked by a phone call, and missed the end of The Closer and Heartland entirely.

If I had known ahead of time that Heartland was filmed in Pittsburgh, I would have made an extra effort to catch it.

Maybe next time.....

Anyone wanting to know what Pittsburgh weather looks like can watch Heartland!

The US Open was the perfect opportunity to see it first hand too!

There is also a show coming out called Back To You, which is a comedy about news-anchors. It is set in Pittsburgh and looks to have a good cast.

Just a heads up for anyone who has Comcast On Demand. Go to TV favorites and then to TNT On Demand and you can watch the episode at your convenience.

House, he's not. Perhaps the show has promise. We'll see if it develops some depth in future episodes.
