What a wonderful thread, how I love horses! So does my dd, and is lucky enough to plan on a career with them. I'll have to see if I can find any pictures on my computer of her riding, but without her face showing, she'd have me over a barrel if I did. No pun intended. LOL

These were of the wild horses we saw down in the Outer Banks of North Carolina last summer. The horse are federally protected on that portion of the island. There are no roads, only sand, you need 4WD to drive there. It was real hot that day, near 100, and some of the herd were standing in the ocean trying to cool off. The second pic was of a very pregnant mare walking along one of the roads:

From the CA horse expo in 06, this was Chris Cox, a trainer' demo... Chris is not the guy with the horse tho, as Chris was on crutches at the time... He was out riding and got skewered on a branch...
