I was out taking pictures today. We're to have warmer weather and rain in the coming week. I ventured down by the creek to get a few last shots before the ice jams begins. Photo ops like these will soon be washed away up stream and the ice will "jam up" and cause flooding down stream.

Nice photos FedupWNY! I enjoy observing the beauty in nature as well, particulary during winter while snowmobiling. I came across this 40 foot falls yesterday.

Moving water affects the snowy terrain.

I like all of these pics. Good job.

On Monday, I took photos of birds on snow covered branches. It was 13 degrees one morning this past week and we had some snow and school delays and cancellations. Today, it hit 65 degrees and I took a pic of a kid in a short sleeved tee shirt, flying his kite. I'm trying to figure out which one is really representative of "February in My Home State."

Great pictures guys! Love the shadows the trees are casting on the snow in your third picture Minuteman!

You could post both. I think the contest allows 2 photos. The contrast would be really nice. Cold one day, warm the next.
