Steve-O - those are excellent images.

You really should see about publishing them some how or another.

One thought - National Geographic accepts certain photos if it falls within the publications submission theme.

(sounds like these guys want money)

There is some sort of SKYSCRAPER site that accepts urban images from around the world...I had it bookmarked...

Did not find much for general or BW photography, but if I do, I'll PM ya.

Deviant Art takes submissions, if you have anything racier than what you've posted here.

Steve, I really enjoyed the nature shots, and the picture of your wife and her sister. The bugs... Well, not so much!

So far no one else has been brave (or foolish?) enough to post any of their own photos. I guess I'll be the first! These pictures were all taken at the wildlife refuge area of the Sepulveda Basin in the San Fernando Valley a few weeks ago. I just bought my first digital camera a month ago, so hopefully my photography skills will improve with time!

I agree with nomoresnow about the spiders--I almost jumped in my seat!
Very, very cool photos.

Sandy
We've had a photo gallery going in the Florida forum for some time now.
It can be a peaceful break from some of our more heated discussions.
Love your nature shots. Here's a couple from northwest Florida:

I have an affinity for spiders - find them to be quite beautiful.

But I always was a weird kid.

Great pictures everyone! I just moved up from the point and shoot world. I bought a Canon Rebel XT. As soon as the weather turns decent, and I don't have to go to class, and I'm not working, and I figure out how to really use the camera, and my family lets me leave the house to go take some pictures, I will post some of them!! I have posted some pictures on this site with my older point and shoot.

Steve-O.
Was showing your pics to my son who's into photography lately. He wanted me to ask you what camera do you use? He's got a Nikon D50 SLR.
Thanks.

Holy crap! LOL Got alot more responses than I thought I would! LOL Sorry it took so long to respond, had a busy day at work, didnt have time to pop on the site like I normally do. THANK YOU ALL for looking/commenting! Glad you liked em! I hope this summer I can get my nice DSLR that Ive been wanting (Canon Rebel XTi). I can only do so much with this camera... LOL

vpcats... I have a Kodak EasyShare Z700. Its only a 4MP, so I cant print pictures too large. It has a really nice macro setting though, way better than I thought it would have. Ive had it for 2 years now and Im itching to get a new nicer camera. Thanks for the comments! Oh, one more thing, the Nikon D50 is ALOT better than mine, just have him spend some time getting to know the camera and he should be able to pull off some really great pics with that thing. I recommend Tamron if he decides to upgrade lenses.
