And just think, there are folks out there who prefer to live in crowded cities and concrete canyons in the flat plains. I for one will take living near mountains any day.
Some shots of our little mountains in North Carolina. I took a short drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway over the weekend while in Asheville with friends and had an opportunity to grab some quick shots. Nikon D3000, used a CP filter, did some minor pp to clear up blown-out skies. It was very hazy that day.
This is Lane Hut, once part of the Lane Gold Prospect. The hut is now maintained as place to stay if in need while out hiking and the weather gets bad.
