Zinzius, your two photos of the Cincinnatti skyline are magnificent! The second one, with the colored reflections in the water looks very similar (except for the different location) to a panoramic photo poster my stepson bought when he was visiting Chicago.

I hope to see more of your work. You are good!

"Thanks everyone,..Both of these are panoramics stitched with CS4,and both are HDR,made from 3-6 10mp Raw images per frame.I wanted to see what I could do with CS4,I took three overexposed images, all with diff focal points, then three correctly exposed with diff focal points, and three underexposed with diff focal points, then I merged all those according to focus, then I merged each set of exposures into HDR images. Then I stitched those HDR images together into a panoramic. So they are Extended Depth of Field HDR Panoramics,..

Scott Bourne explains the Extended Depth of Field better than I can in this video .. Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended Depth of Field Tutorial/Demo on Vimeo Basically I just combined that technique with HDR and Made a panoramic.Exposures times are around 10-30 seconds, and I was between f/16-f/22,with a Nikon D80."

Sounds way too complicated and/or time-consuming for me. No wonder your photos look so much better than mine!

This is mainly a lesson in Photoshop for me,but surprisingly once you get the process down it takes only minutes to merge everything. That said,it's hard to take a bad pict in a spot like that.I think almost any camera on a tripod, turn off the flash, turn on self timer, and you will likely end up with something nice. That's what I did with this one of me and the wife. One of my favorite picts,..

"Extended Depth of Field HDR Panoramics"

You sir, are a maniac. And I mean that in the best way possible.

Absolutely outstanding work, Zinzius. Very inspiring.

Those photos are the best I have seen! Great job! I do not understand anything you were talking about....I would need some kind of Photgraphy book for super dummies! Right now I am a point and shoot girl, hopefully I will take my new camera out of that mode and explore with future picture taking!
Hope you post more pics!
