elnina, i put two rolls/packages of Jimmy Dean pork sausage on top of the bacon weave. flatened it out to the edges of the weave.. rolled the sausage to one end first, then rolled the entire weave/sausage together. this thing is DEEE-licious. the first time i made it i ate it on small hamburger buns. the next few times i ate it with potato salad.
edit: for google purposes, this is called a Bacon Explosion.

Oh lordy, I'm coming to your house! I can hear the arteries clog from here.
One question though. Why Turkey Bacon? There is no way in Heck it is for reduced fat or calories in that divine looking plate of food.
well, some guys on another forum i'm on made it with regular bacon and took it to work, and had reports of light-headedness after eating.... so i was trying to make it as light/healthy as possible. it still tasted great...the last time i made it, i tried it with low sodium bacon, and that was better than the turkey bacon....i just didn't take pics of it that time. i also made it once with diced onions and jalapenos in the middle....yummmmmm.
I wonder how would it taste with lean ground meat or turkey ( prepared) instead of Jim Dean sausage...
( I am not criticizing, just looking for a lower cal version )
