Uh, x2cme, I think we're not supposed to post the same photo in more than thread (except, perhaps, for the contest thread after a couple of us suggested to Redbird that his Oklahoma road photo was perfect for that).

Yesterday, as I was driving to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, I came upon this field of poppies that literally "popped out" at me. Fortunately, there was a road to turn off and a place I could park and take photos. The sun was totally in the wrong spot, but the sight of this made my jaw drop.
